Why it's OK to have questions about the Bible and God
Life is full of hardships that make it difficult to believe in a loving God. The Bible is full of larger-than-life stories that are hard to accept as true. Prayer often seems to go unanswered. There is a lot of evil in the world.
All of this begets hard questions about the Bible and God. And we’re here to tell you that this is OK.
At Centerpoint Church, we believe that asking questions about the Bible and God should never be shunned. It’s through asking the hard questions that people launch personal journeys toward discovering God, giving them a platform on which to build a deep, personal relationship with Him.
What to do when you have questions about the Bible and God
If you, like many others, have hard questions about the Bible and God, find someone you trust and talk to them about these questions. A person you trust should be willing to walk with you through these questions to wrestle with the answers. They might not even be able to provide an answer, but their willingness to walk through the questions with you can help you discover some new truths about God and about yourself.
If you talk to someone about hard questions about the Bible and God and they tell you to stop asking these kinds of questions, then you need to find someone else who will help. God never commands us to not ask questions. He knows belief doesn't come easy for most of us, which is why the Holy Spirit often works through others to walk with people through the hard questions about the Bible and God.
Centerpoint Church is ready to walk with you on your faith journey
