The teachings of Jesus are pretty simple, and pretty clear. He offers incredible wisdom that will not only make you better at life, but also make your life better.

Over the years, humans have added a lot of layers to the Christian experience: church traditions, religious customs, and some pretty weird language. We want to eliminate the noise, help you find the wisdom at the heart of His teachings, and show you to apply it.

You may not be sure yet about this Jesus guy, and you may have a lot of questions. The good news is you don't need to have all the answers.

At Centerpoint, you can feel safe to ask questions, explore the teachings of Jesus, and begin to take steps to apply them to your life—when you are ready. We’ll be here to provide support, friendship, practical resources, and a foundation of biblical knowledge to use as you figure it all out.

From June to August, we’re challenging our Centerpoint gathering to sign up for events benefiting our local community partners. There are volunteer opportunities for every age and ability level, including daytime, evening and weekend events. Grab a friend, round up your kids, invite a neighbor or coworker, and help us spread some kindness this summer.

LIFE STAGE GATHERING: STAGE 1

Stage 1 is taking over Voodoo Brewing Co for a night of trivia, great food, cold beer, and the kind of conversations that actually go somewhere. No awkward small talk — just your people, a little friendly competition, and a reason to get out of the house.

LIFE STAGE GATHERING: STAGE 2

Pack up your picnic dinner, grab the family, and head to the church playground for a night of tie-dye, good vibes, and the kind of summer fun that kids will still be talking about in September. Together, we'll be tie-dying white shirts to kick off the summer celebrations right — and trust us, the messier, the better.

TAMPA TARPONS BASEBALL GAME: COMMUNITY NIGHT

We are taking over the Bullpen Club at Steinbrenner Field to cheer on the Tampa Tarpons. We've got a private space on the first base side with floor-to-ceiling views of the field, a Tarpons hat for everyone, and an all-inclusive food and beverage spread.

And somewhere along the way, between careers and kids and all the responsibilities of a full life, that feeling got tucked away.

Summer of Service: Letters of Love

June 26, 5-8pm Markers, stickers, and a whole lot of heart. Join us to make handmade cards for kids in Tampa Bay hospitals. All ages, all skill levels, all welcome — plus snacks! Come for 5 minutes or stay all night.

Summer of Service: Back-to-School Bash & Backpack hero day

July 28-August 1 (Various shifts). Help fill backpacks, support local families, and run activities for kids at this countywide back-to-school event sponsored by ECHO. Sign up today!
