Elementary Ministry Coordinator
Location: Centerpoint Church, 1720 S. St. Cloud Ave., Valrico, Florida
Employment Type: Part time, 20 hours per week (Sundays included). Flexible schedule which accomodates working from home outside of Sunday mornings.

Summary: We are hiring an Elementary Ministry Coordinator focused on empowering volunteers, overseeing Sunday programming, and strategically planning for the growth of the elementary ministry. Reporting to the Family Engagement Pastor, this role requires a passionate, culturally aware, and authentic Christ-follower who excels in leadership, teamwork, and creating an environment where children and families can grow in their faith and feel truly welcomed.

Specific Responsibilities:
Leading Volunteers
Recruiting, scheduling, coaching, and empowering a team of 40-60 volunteers.
Regular weekly communication via calls/text/email to empower a team of small group leaders and a First Impressions team.
Overseeing Sunday Programming, Curriculum, and First Impression Experience
Create and evaluate an environment that tears away every unnecessary barrier for elementary students to find life and freedom in Jesus.
Using the provided curriculum, prepare resources in a way that will empower leaders and help children learn and grow.
Lead the First Impressions Team to ensure families have a welcoming, inspiring, and helpful experience.
Strategic Future Planning of the Elementary Program
Collaborate in planning and implementing a strategy for children to grow in their faith.
Continually evaluate current ministry effectiveness and find ways to improve.
