-National Alliance on Mental Illness

At Centerpoint, we have personally felt the effects of mental illness in our gathering.

We believe that mental illness is a real issue and that there is real hope.

We are working to erase the stigma surrounding mental health disorders, connect people to a community of support, and empower individuals to seek out counseling and treatment.

Counseling

At Centerpoint, we recognize that counseling can be an essential element in the growth and health of an individual. We work with a network of local licensed practitioners that can provide counseling services to individuals, couples and families needing assistance.

To learn more about counseling, complete the counseling inquiry form and a member of our staff will respond within 48 hours.

Centerpoint does not offer crisis counseling or emergency services.

If you or a loved one is in immediate danger, calling 911 and talking with police may be necessary.
It is important to notify the operator that it is a psychiatric emergency and ask for police officers trained in crisis intervention or trained to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.

If you or someone you know is contemplating harming themselves, call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline 1-800-273-8255 or call or text 988.

Pastoral Care

Centerpoint Church does offer short-term pastoral care. If you would benefit from meeting with a pastor to discuss faith-related questions or general pastoral care needs, request a meeting here.
